4 1/2 cups GF bread
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped sweet onion
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp sage
Optional- Chicken broth
Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees
Take your GF bread and chop it up into smaller cubes *I recommend the brand Schar
Chop up your celery and onion
Melt butter on the stove and toss in your celery and onions
Allow celery and onion to cook down and get soft
Add in half of your bread mixture to the melted butter, celery and onion and mix until it absorbs the butter
Toss together your dry and moistened bread and mix together
Mix in chicken broth slowly until you have reached desired consistency
Place stuffing in a sprayed 11x7 pan with foil and cook for 30 minutes
Take the foil off and cook for another 15-20 minutes
Guys, this stuffing is AMAZING! It’s the perfect amount of softness, crispiness, butteriness and just everything I would want in a stuffing. A lot of times gluten free bread is grainy and falls apart, but the Schar brand that I recommended held all of the moisture so well. I also used the brand Pacific for my chicken stock since a majority of their soups are gf (both are linked below). You could absolutely bring this for everyone to eat and they wouldn’t even know the difference. I did a smaller portion, so if you are wanting to bring more to share make sure you double up on all ingredients. Let me know if you tried it and what you thought, enjoy!
